Saul A. Solomon has been the Metro Legal Director since February of this year. He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 1981. Since moving to Nashville in 1985, Solomon has held public sector (Assistant Public Defender) and various corporate positions, both in legal departments and in business units. Prior to becoming Metro Legal Director, he spent the previous 18 years at Bridgestone Americas, retiring from the Company in January, 2012 as the President of its Latin American Operations.

Solomon has taught Sunday School at The Temple and is currently President of the Lost Boys Foundation of Nashville and is busily trying to find space for Lost Boy artists to paint and sculpt. Saul is fluent in Spanish and has a special interest in reaching out to the Spanish speaking community in Nashville.

Particular areas of interest include mentoring young lawyers and working with all new immigrants in the Nashville area.
