Nathan H. Ridley practices in the Nashville office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree with a major in history and political science from Vanderbilt University in 1976. He earned his law degree from the University Of Tennessee College Of Law in 1979. He served for eighteen years working with the in the Office of Legal Services for the Tennessee General Assembly providing drafting and staff services to members of the General Assembly. He also served as Special Counsel to the Speaker of the Senate. Nathan moved to private practice in 1998, providing clients with government affairs representation.

Ridley provides annual CLE legislative updates for the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. He is a current member and past Chair of the Tennessee Lobbyists Association. He is an elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church and teaches a class of fifth graders. Particular areas of interest include developing CLE opportunities; reminding ourselves to strive mightily, but to eat and drink as friends; and enhancing the standing of the profession in the public policy arena where the foundations of the American legal system are often forgotten.
