chris S hofstetter
Chris S. Hofstetter is with Hofstetter & Hofstetter, an association of attorneys with Jim Hofstetter and George H. Cate, Jr., of counsel. He received his B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 1977, his J.D from the Nashville School of Law in 1982, and was admitted to practice in 1982. Hofstetter was honored as the NBA “Dial-A-Lawyer” Volunteer of the Year in 2006. He is the former Chair of the General Sessions Court Committee (Civil Division) and the Probate Court Committee, is active in the NBA Pro Bono program, and is a Fellow in the Nashville Bar Foundation.
Hofstetter is a former President/Chair of the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation-Central Tennessee Chapter, Vanderbilt Rehabilitative Services Board, and Serra Club of Nashville. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus #12246 and is the Forensics Coach at Christ the King School. He is a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, where he is a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. Particular areas of interest are expanding the Pro Bono program to involve more attorneys, and increasing the social activities to promote greater civility among the members of the bar.
